About the show
Two experts. One honest conversation.

The story
Why we started Office Hours
We kept having the same conversation. Brilliant people — Data Scientists, Engineers, Scientists, Researchers — who were exceptional at their craft but felt stuck, overlooked, or unsure how to take the next step in their careers.
The advice available to them was either too generic, too corporate, or too disconnected from the realities of working in a technical field. So we decided to create the resource we wished had existed when we were navigating our own careers.
Office Hours is that resource. Every episode is built around one question: what do STEM professionals need to hear right now? We bring in the guests, ask the hard questions, and let the insight speak for itself.
Our mission
Closing the gap between technical excellence and career success.
Most career advice is written for generalists. But Data Scientists, Engineers, Researchers and technologists face a unique set of challenges — from navigating organisational politics to making the leap into leadership without losing their identity. Office Hours exists to bridge that gap with honest, practical, expert-led conversations.
